Barbara Messner

Barbara studied dance and dance pedagogy at the Rotterdam Dance Academy and acting in Holland, Paris and Munich. A great curiosity about the most diverse forms of theater and types of movement, cultures and languages made her venture out into the world until she came back to her roots in Munich. She worked as a dancer, actress for film and theater, realized her own projects and let the words dance as a moderator, speaker and author.

Barbara has been teaching for more than 25 years, most recently acting and movement for international singing students at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Barbara speaks 7 languages, a vision for the future is to combine this with SourceTuning.

It is always fascinating to see how a role biography experienced in SourceTuning unfolds and a character emerges and takes its place. And that even the darkest of characters can have lust and merriment and humanity in them. Contradictions, the body finds its own answers.

As a Coach, I give you space to discover your personal expression. I am concerned with what makes you special as an artist, your imagination, intuition, inspiration and imperfection, that only you can bring into a role, work. Being in the moment, being open like a child, no matter of age.
